Projects

Organize resources and understand project state.

Project lifecycle

A project is the ownership boundary for its PostgreSQL database, application, storage, domains, and edge workers. Create, rename, inspect, and delete projects from the console, CLI, MCP, or API.

Deletion is permanent. Deleting a project queues removal of every resource it owns. Automation must opt in, and MCP requires the exact current project name.

Usage and status

Project status separates the project record from database readiness. Usage reports storage, query, row, and connection measurements; account rollups provide the wider view.

Project identifiers

Use immutable UUIDs in automation. Names are human-friendly selectors and can change.
